What we do

Dirt work and excavation done the right way

From the first cut to final grade, we handle dirt work for ranches, building sites, and oilfield locations across western North Dakota. Site prep, grading, dugouts, approaches, trenching, and reclamation, all done with the right equipment and an eye for doing it right.

Good dirt work is the foundation everything else sits on. A pad that drains, a road that holds, a dugout that fills and stays. We take the time to set the grade correctly so the work lasts through the seasons.

Why it matters

More than moving dirt

Dirt work is the part nobody sees once the job is done, but it is the part that decides whether everything built on top of it holds up. Cut the grade wrong and water finds it. Get it right and the work lasts for years.

Built to last

We set the grade so water runs where it should and the ground stays put through freeze and thaw.

One crew, start to finish

From the first cut to final cleanup, you deal with one outfit that owns the whole job.

Local and reliable

We know this country, the soil, and the weather, and we show up when we say we will.

Right equipment for the job

Machines sized to the work, so the job gets done efficiently instead of fought through.

Done on schedule

We plan around weather and your timeline and keep the project moving.

Clean, finished grade

We leave the site graded, tidy, and ready for whatever comes next.

Good to know

Frequently asked

The work

What kinds of dirt work do you do?
Site and pad prep, grading and leveling, dugouts and stock ponds, approaches and access roads, trenching and backfill, and clearing and reclamation. If your project is not on that list, give us a call and we will tell you whether we are the right fit.
Do you work on ranch, residential, and oilfield sites?
We do. We work across ranch, acreage, commercial, and oilfield sites throughout the region. Tell us about your project and the location and we will let you know how we can help.
Can you build a new dugout or clean out an existing one?
Yes. We dig new dugouts and stock ponds and clean out existing ones that have filled in, so they hold water the way they should.
Can you fix drainage and grading so water runs right?
That is a big part of good dirt work. We set the grade so water moves where you want it instead of pooling where you do not.
Do you handle land and brush clearing?
Yes. We clear brush and overgrowth, pull old materials, and grade the ground back to a clean, usable finish.

Scheduling, cost & prep

How do estimates work?
Reach out with the project and the location. In most cases we will look at the site or review the details, then get you a straight quote with no surprises.
What does dirt work cost?
It depends on the scope, the site, the material involved, and how the access sits. Send us the details and we will get you an honest estimate for the work.
How far out are you scheduling?
It depends on the season and the weather, which move fast out here. Reach out with your timeline and we will tell you straight when we can get to it.
Do you work year round?
We work as long as the ground and the weather allow. Frost and snow limit what dirt work is possible in deep winter, so the earlier you reach out, the better we can plan around it.
What do you need from me to get started?
The basics. The location, what you are looking to get done, your timeline, and any site access details like gate codes or where to come in.
